A Northwest Arkansas player who stayed anonymous won $250.8 million in the March 2 Powerball draw, ordering the ticket through the Jackpocket app.
A jackpot bought on a phone
A Powerball ticket sold in Arkansas won the $250.8 million jackpot in the March 2, 2026 drawing - and it was ordered through a lottery app. The winner, a Northwest Arkansas resident who chose to stay anonymous, used the Jackpocket app, which bought the ticket from a Little Rock retailer.
The winning numbers were 2, 17, 18, 38 and 62, with a Powerball of 20.
The cash option
The winner claimed the prize in late March and took the one-time cash payment of $118 million before taxes, the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery said.
It was the third time the Powerball jackpot had been won in Arkansas.
Playing Powerball from outside the US
Buying a Powerball entry through an app or courier is exactly how players outside the United States can take part too. A licensed lottery courier buys an official ticket on your behalf for the same draw and the same jackpot, then stores it securely. Pick your numbers, choose a draw, and you're entered.
